Some things haven’t changed for Anushka Shetty — she still gets butterflies before every new project.
“The first day is always tough,” she admits. “It usually takes me about a week to settle in.”
But for Anushka, this initial phase isn’t just about slipping into character — it’s about tuning into the team.
“When I interact with the director, cinematographer, or crew, some things are said out loud, others are felt in the silences,” she explains. “I try to read both — to respond instinctively. Since we’ll be working together for months, that mutual understanding lets me explore the character more freely.”
