Karan Johar, who makes a special appearance in the series, penned a heartfelt note for Aryan Khan. Sharing a picture from the sets, he wrote:
“Shine on, son!!! Tonight is your big night, when your family, friends and the fraternity welcome you to the movies with open arms (your father made that a national gesture). You chose a path many never believed you would — the daunting task of being behind the camera, of being a storyteller and the captain of its execution. I’ve seen you work tirelessly and passionately for over two years, never once taking the opportunity for granted. You have your own unique voice, and I can’t wait for the world to witness it in #badsofbollywood. I am so, so proud of you and love you deeply! (Also, thank you for giving me a part in the show — I was secretly waiting for you to ask!) The series is done, beta… but picture abhi baaki hai!”
The Ba***ds of Bollywood will hit Netflix at 12:30 pm today.
