The upcoming romantic drama film ‘Gustaakh Ishq’ featuring Fatima Sana Shaikh and Vijay Varma is set to hit the silver screens in November. The makers of the film announced its theatrical release date on Tuesday.

The makers of Fatima Sana Shaikh and Vijay Varma’s much-awaited film Gustaakh Ishq have finally ended the suspense around its release. On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, they announced the official release date while also unveiling the film’s new track UlJalool Ishq on social media.
The caption of the post read: “Do dilon ke court mein, muqadama hai ishq. #UlJaloolIshq Song Out Now. #GustaakhIshq releasing in cinemas worldwide on 21st November 2025.”
Alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh and Vijay Varma, the film also features veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah and Sharib Hashmi in key roles. Check out the Instagram post below.
Gustaakh Ishq release date announced
As per the official announcement, Gustaakh Ishq is set to arrive in theatres on November 21, 2025. The news sparked excitement among fans, who quickly flooded the comment section with reactions. One user wrote, “Finally,” while another gushed, “OMG, what a melody! Gulzar saab with Vishal Bhardwaj, and the soothing voices of Papon and Shilpa.”
For those unaware, the film is directed by Vibhu Puri and marks the production debut of ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra under his banner, Stage 5 Productions.
