On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, President Droupadi Murmu presented the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2023 to actor Mohanlal and honoured other winners at the 71st National Film Awards ceremony.
“Cinema is the heartbeat of my soul. Jai Hind!” said Mohanlal upon receiving the nation’s highest honour in cinema.
