Party leaders launched vans to screen Chalo Jeete Hain at over 50,000 locations across the State to mark the Prime Minister’s birthday, while the State unit also plans blood donation drives and other public service activities.
To celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, the BJP’s Bihar unit will screen Chalo Jeete Hai (Come, Let’s Live), a short film on his early life, across all 243 Assembly constituencies in the poll-bound State.
For the occasion, the party sent out 243 vans equipped with large screens from Patna’s Gandhi Maidan on Tuesday (September 16, 2025), a day before Mr. Modi’s birthday.
BJP State president Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde, Health Minister Mangal Pandey, and Union Minister Nityanand Rai flagged off the vans. “These chariots will spread the message of service and dedication through the film Chalo Jeete Hain, based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inspirational childhood, across all Assembly constituencies—so that every citizen can draw inspiration from his life of service, struggle, and determination,” Mr. Jaiswal said after the launch.
The short film’s synopsis notes that as a child, Mr. Modi was inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s words: “Only those who live for others, truly live.”
A Film of Inspiration’
Mr. Choudhary said the film would inspire ordinary citizens by showing that even the son of a poor man can become Prime Minister. He urged people to carry this message to every household.
In addition to the screenings, blood donation drives and various public service initiatives will be held across the State under the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ (service fortnight) from September 17 to October 2.
Mr. Rai said these “chariots” would travel to every corner of Bihar, with the film being screened at over 50,000 locations.
Mr. Rai, Lok Sabha MP from Ujiarpur and former Bihar BJP president, said, “This is not just a film but a reality—one that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself lived as a child. His path to becoming Prime Minister was never easy. He grew up in poverty and hardship, yet never gave up.” He added that Mr. Modi turned adversity into a challenge and entered politics so that future generations would not have to endure the same struggles
